Animal Crossing New Leaf - Day 173

Last Nights Caper
I think I played Pokemon, when I really should be playing A Link Between Worlds, I haven't really played much of they yet... Maybe after tonight's post.

Day 173
Well, no sign of snow, so you know that's going to be a sad day. I had some mail i my mailbox, I forgot what the others were (obviously nothing overly important), but one was a thank you gift from Gulliver, and it had a mummies casket.

I really need to switch out my minimalist set in my main room for something else, but I really don't know what I set I should put in it's place... Any suggestions?

There was also a notice for Naughty-or-Nice day on the bulletin board. I did a quick google, it's nothing special, just Isabelle at the town tree handing out wall stockings - maybe a photoboard, not really too sure to be honest (I should probably look it up in one of my guide books).

Katrina was also in town today, I believe this being visit #18, let's hope we can get two more visits before the year ends. She gave me a bad fortune upon love, which I don't think worked, because I was talking to a lot of villagers today (you know, to figure out Christmas gifts), and I didn't notice any difference when talking to the female villagers...

The Nooklings and Able Sisters had their festive items in today. The Nooklings having a Jingle bed, and the sisters having a Santa hat (now I've completed the Santa costume, unless there are socks I don't know about?)

Annalisa also pinged once again and suggest we build a garbage can. I honestly don't think I'll end up building it, I've got two in my house and just seems like a waste of public works project building it. I do want to build some more before the snow hits, I'm thinking the water pump and drinking fountain, but we'll have to wait and see what I end up doing.

My basement also got expanded today, and it's now the biggest size possible (just in time for the ice set that shall soon smother it!). Whilst I was on Main Street, I decided to pay it off again, and expand the right room. Now all my rooms are fully expanded, and I just need to pay off my final mortgage (which I don't know if I'll do soon, I wanna get some more money in the bank first), and then I'm FREE.
I guess I should probably work on making a different house exterior now...

Whist pestering my villagers for Christmas gift hints and chores (in hopes to get their pictures), Bree suggested we play a game of hide-and-seek. It's been a long while since we last played so I took her up on her offer, and off we went. I managed to find all three with ease and she gave me my reward, a low screen.

Also during the process of pestering, Rosie also had a petition that needed signing, and I asked Shannon if I could visit her town to get signatures. She let me, and off I went to Equestia to have the residents there fufil Rosie's dreams. I was hoping to gain her picture for completing the request, but alas, I ended up getting a darned industrial wall...

Christmas Caper
I managed to fill out everyones wish list today, now I've got the completed list, Toy Day should be  walk in the park. Although, I'm almost certain we're going to have another villager move in between now and December 24th, so that's another villager I'll have to work on, shouldn't be too hard, though!

Bree - Pink, plant
Purrl - White, appliance
Ricky - Black, clothing
Jacques - White, furniture
Frita - Yellow, instrument
Rosie - Red, umbrella
Annalisa - Yellow, furniture
Leonardo - Red, musical instrument
Tia - White, wallpaper

Unrelated News
So yeah, even though we were snow-less today, I still managed to enjoy my time in Skyfall. I hope it snows tomorrow on Naught-or-Nice day, and then in just under a week, I can enjoy Skyfall in it's snow filled goodness!
Now I'm off to play something, not sure if I'll pick AC, Pokemon, or Zelda... Hmmm. Cya!

Well, you said you would like the "Gorgeous Series"...
I do not know which "theme mission" by the HHA you will sign for, but if you go for "trendy" - the "Gorgeous Series" was your fried.
However, at least you could say to have purchased the most expensive (buyable) furniture series of the game...

  2. What about Jingle? I love the jingle set as it's really festive and has a nice feel to it...you can then put the stocking in there from Naughty or nice day! :)
