Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Holiday Event Now Live, Ends 26/12/2017

The first Seasonal Event for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has gone live, and you can now celebrate Christmas in game! To kick things off, every player will receive a Santa Hat that will be sent to their Item Box once redeemed via the players Mail Box. Whilst this is the only freebie given to your directly, there are a number of other items you can obtain whilst you play around. By helping villagers, you'll start receiving Candy Canes, which you can use to start crafting limited edition Holiday Furniture. Shovelstrike Quarry also gives out Candy Canes if that's more your style. Collect enough of these Candy Canes and you'll be able to craft a tonne of new Christmas themed items! Additionally, by completing special Time Goals, the player can also obtain the rest of the Santa Outfit, including the Coat, Skirt, Pants and Boots. Here's What to Expect in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Next Month

Animal Crossing is a game that follows real time events, so naturally the mobile adaptation would do the same. Data miners have been hard at work with the latest update to the game and have uncovered a number of new additions to be included in the game next month, and through to the new year. First off, is the addition of 11 new villagers joining the game, being Antonio, Avery, Bluebear, Drake, Goose, June, Marshal, Mitzi, Phoebe, Raddle, and Vesta. Not only have these villagers been added, but so have their photos, and a new theme, titled the Rustic theme, which comes with a new Essene which will be used to craft the 70+ new furniture additions.  As well as furniture, a new set of amenities will be added to the game to tie in with the new Rustic theme. Those who play the game on android are in for a treat, as three exclusive clothing items have been added, that can only obtain by those who play the game on android. Whilst the game still hasn't seen an official release window outside of Australia, a peculiar new mini-game has popped up on the Japanese website, titled Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Friend Finder, and it can be played right now! Whilst it may be difficult to understand what the mini game is actually about, you can easily switch the language from Japanese to English at the bottom of the site, which gives us a full detailed description of what the mini game actually does. Food For Thought: Super Mario Odyssey - Review

Disclaimer: When reading this mini-review, keep in mind these are just my personal thoughts and ramblings on the game, as opposed to a full, in-depth review. This review also contains minor spoilers. In a time that felt like it was revealed, and released within a month, October 27th gave us ourt next sandbox style Mario game. Now a few years ago, I would have been all over this. Any new piece of information, demo, trailer, presentation; you'd see me watching over it countless times, only to put it down, and then come back to it again the next day. But now, not so much. I pretty much went into this game blind, I only ever saw what they showed off in Nintendo Directs. Any Treehouse gameplay at E3, or demos, I didn't watch, at all... and maybe that's where some of my issues stemmed.
