Mini Game for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Mysteriously Pops Up Online

Whilst the game still hasn't seen an official release window outside of Australia, a peculiar new mini-game has popped up on the Japanese website, titled Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Friend Finder, and it can be played right now!

Whilst it may be difficult to understand what the mini game is actually about, you can easily switch the language from Japanese to English at the bottom of the site, which gives us a full detailed description of what the mini game actually does. It seems you'll be able to receive 4 exclusive smart phone wall papers, and it also seems you'll be able to earn Platinum My Nintendo Points as well. Summary: 

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Friend Finder is web browser content related to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. You can discover the perfect animal pal for you by answering Katrina's questions.If you sign in with your Nintendo Account, you can also search for items in four separate maps with the animal pal Katrina found for you.By collecting items and completing each map, you can earn four different special wallpapers.

How to participate:
Anyone can participate using a PC, smart phone, tablet, or other smart device.Please note that not all devices may be supported.You must sign in with a Nintendo Account in order to search for items with an animal.Users will need to register for a Nintendo Account and accept the Nintendo Account Agreement and Privacy Policy if they have not previously done so in order to participate while signed into a Nintendo Account.

How to play:
Friend Finder
- Katrina will ask a series of questions. Your answers will determine which animal could be your best friend. 

- There are 17 different animals.

Item Search

- After you've found a friend, select "Log in and play" to start searching for items.

- You and your animal pal can visit four different maps: your campsite, Lost Lure Creek, Market Place, and OK Motors. Search for items listed with the ? mark.

- Once a day, you'll receive a log-in bonus that will help you when searching for items.

- The log-in bonus refresh happens each day at 03:00 GMT.

- Once you gather the three items marked with ? on each map, visit Katrina at her Mystic Tent to obtain special wallpaper.

- It's also possible to use social media to send items to other people participating in this campaign.
Please note that the log-in bonus items and any items obtained through social media are only for use within this campaign and will not carry over into the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game.In order to use the social media features of this campaign, registration on the supported social media platforms is required.

Present #1:

- If you sign into your Nintendo Account to use Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Friend Finder and search for items, you'll receive a participation present of 200 Platinum Points at a later time.
- The points will be applied directly to your Nintendo Account.
- Each account will only receive My Nintendo points for this event once.Users will need to register for a Nintendo Account and accept the Nintendo Account Agreement and Privacy Policy if they have not previously done so in order to participate while signed into a Nintendo Account.

Present #2:
- Users who search for items and complete the collection requirements for each map can receive wallpaper for use on a smart device. There are 4 available wallpapers to collect.

It seems the exclusive wallpapers are a little scarce right now, but once we get images of them we'll be sure to share them!
