Real Life Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sea Creature Exhibition Coming to Japan

For anyone in Japan, the Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise amusement park will attempt to bring Animal Crossing to the real world, by holding a special Sea Creature exhibition with Blathers' commentary, a Stamp Rally, and much more! Full details below!
As previously mentioned, the exhibition will be held at the Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise amusement park between July 12th and August 31st. They'll have an exhibit of over 100 fish and sea creatures from New Horizons, each with their own unique description, which will include Blathers' commentary when donating specimens, plus some additions from the keepers of the enclosures. They do not that visitors won't be able to observe the Coelacanth, or the Oarfish at the exhibit.

They'll also be holding their very own Fishing Tournament over at the Umi Farm. Normally, the Umi Farm houses Mackerel and Sea Bream, which can be caught and cooked on-site, however, during the Tourney, the farm will hold "special cages" so participants won't know what they'll be catching. Winners will be determines by the amount and type of fish they catch, but participants who have never fished before may still win if they manage to hook a rare fish. Winners of the Tourney will be given a special sticker, with C.J. on it!

The Fureai Lagoon will also be receiving a makeover, allowing attendees to come in contact with some of the sea life, and even dig up clams on the beach. There'll also be a number of Scallops hidden around the lagoon, and if you manage to find one, you'll receive a special sticker with Pascal!

Next up is the Stamp Rally, in which people can purchase the Stamp book for 200 yen, and collect stamps at 10 different places in the aquarium, they'll be rewarded with a special sticker sheet of some Animal Crossing characters! The Stamp Book also acts as a guide book, including an exhibition map of all the Animal Crossing sea life.

An assortment of merchandise will also be available, including a paper file, cookies, tote bag, and checking into the event with the My Nintendo app will also allow players to grab an amiibo card and exclusive post card.

Other merchandise being sold will include the All Star plush collection that has already been announced, as well as some erasers, mugs, and keychains! The mugs and keychains won't see a retail release until October, so people who visit the aquarium will be able to grab them early.

To end things off, they've also created their own Island, named Yumebanchi, which is based off the theme park. They've also designed a number of clothing pieces for visitors to grab in-game. Their DA is 0334-6879-4206, and MA is 3637-4458-3892.
