As we previously reported , Zipper's Wonderland Event is now live in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and will run through to April 4th, 4:59pm AEDST, with a second part starting immediately after until April 9th, 4:59pm AEDST. Check out our post below for a more in-depth look at the event! Zipper has arrived at your campsite in a hunt for scramblers, which can are attracted to special heart-shaped roses. Bringing these scramblers to Zipper will grant you special rewards. Three new flower types are also available during the event, pink, orange, and blue heart-shaped roses, with the latter being available during the second half of the event. Daily Quests Come To Pokemon GO

Image
Announced earlier in the week was Niantic's newest addition to the Pokemon GO app - daily quests, which will grant the players unique rewards, and even a chance to catch Mew! From the official site: "A series of mysterious happenings is occurring all over the world, and Professor Willow is seeking Trainers to help him find out if this is connected to the Mythical Pokémon Mew. These research tasks will become available to Trainers around the world later this week! There are two different types of research you can contribute to: Field Research and Special Research. Gather Field Research tasks by spinning nearby PokéStops, which will give you objectives that include discovering and catching certain Pokémon or engaging with battles, among other things. Special Research may be requested by Professor Willow himself, and will take you on a journey to make important discoveries! Both types of research offer great rewards, including a variety of useful items and even encoun

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Version 1.3.1 Datamine

The latest update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp dropped this morning, and it wasn't long before all it's update contents was mined for those curious about things to come. Take a seat, because there's a lot to get covered! To kick things off, there seems to be a part 3 to the on-going Super Mario Event, with the third (and final?) part providing Peach and Wario clothing items as rewards, as well as warp pipes, a fire bar, and goal pole as rewards. The third part will start March 31st and last until April 10th. Teased on Twitter earlier this week was their next event, a Tea Party, titled Zipper's Wonderland, to tie in with Easter. The update provides a little more insight into what the event will entail. The event will commence March 30th, and run until April 9th, which seems to have the player collect eggs that can be exchanged for special tea party, and Easter themed furniture and clothing. We also expect some of the egg series features in the last dat

Food For Thought: Pokemon Colosseum/XD Gale of Darkness (Part 2)

Something that I barely mentioned in the first part, mainly because I forgot about it and it was also getting way too long (and as I'm typing this I'm realizing this is going to be a lot longer than the first part), is that the main style of battles in this game is double battles. It's actually a really good idea that allows you to use a variety of different attacks and strategies you normally wouldn't go for. With that out of the way, lets get into what the sequel is all about. Gameplay wise, it's a carbon copy of Colosseum, catch the Shadow Pokemon, purify them, use them on your team, defeat the evil organization - though the game seems to ditch the darker vibes from the first game for a much cuter outlook, both gameplay and graphics wise. Gameplay wise, it's a lot more fluent and in-depth than Colosseum, though it still suffers the "giving you nothing then giving you everything all at once" issue. The game still takes place in the Orre Region (

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Version 1.3.0 Datamine

Image
It wasn't that long ago the previous version dropped, but with mobile apps constantly being updated, it was no surprise the 1.3.0 version dropped and was swiftly datamined, with a few surprises in store! Now before you get excited, this datamine isn't anywhere near as big as the previous one, and only gives an insight to a few upcoming features, but that doesn't mean there's nothing of interest hidden away. First and foremost, a maintenance update that began at midnight on March 14th added a couple of minor things to the game. Catching fish and bugs will now result in their size being recorded, and their sizes can be checked in your catalogue at any given time, and you can also plant, harvest and water multiple flowers at once in your garden. The game also offers 20 Leaf Tickets as a thank you for your patience during the down time. The players inventory has also been expanded to hold an additional 50 items, and a friends entire Market Box can now be viewed strai
