Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Version 1.7.0b Datamine

The latest update to Pocket Camp brings us a spring of new things, such as new events, themes, villagers, and of course, fortune cookies. Take a look below to see what will be heading to the game for the remainder of the month!

As it's already been shown off on the Official Twitter, the fourth Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt will be starting on August 19th (at411pm PT to be exact). Players will be on the look out for a special denim-themed Gyroidite, which will provide players with denim-themed rewards.

Bunnie will be receiving her own Li'l Red Fortune Cookie on August 23rd, and will allow players to collect an assortment of items based off the Little Red Riding Hood tale.

Two flower events will also be coming up. The first will be the return of Lottie's Gothic Rose Festive which will be reissued via stamp-cards from August 22nd until November. On the topic of reissues, the special android exclusive items are currently being sent out again for players who missed them during their first run. The second, new event is the Flower Festival, which drops the bug catching aspect of gardening events, and instead has the player harvest flowers through the use of cross-pollination.

As we near the end of the colder months, the bug catching contest was inevitable to make an appearance, with the first event starting on August 23rd and lasting for a week. The event will be centred around catching beetles, and will also reward the player with fortune cookies for reaching the goals provided.

And finally, there will be 5 new villagers coming to the game from August 21st, through September 3rd. On August 21st, Elise, Gaston and Kidd will be arriving, then again on August 28th, Cobb and Molly will also be arriving. These villagers will sport the new Civic theme, so of course, there are a bunch of new amenities, clothing and furniture items coming alongside them to tie-in with this theme.

And that does it for this update. It feels odd that the first bug catching event doesn't seem to grant unique rewards like the fishing contest, but it seems this time it'll just give the players fortune cookies. As usual, thanks to reddit for the datamine. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Tumblr to stay up to date with the latest Animal Crossing news!
