Nintendo UK Offering Pre-Order Bonuses For Digital Copies of New Horizons

In this day and age, many people prefer to purchase games digitally, usually for convenience, and often get shafted when it comes to pre-order bonuses. But for those in the UK, Nintendo has you covered when it comes to New Horizons. None of the bonuses are anything we haven't already seen, but it's very nice of them to not neglect digital purchases.

Nintendo's Official UK Store will be offering purchasers a choice between the previously revealed tote bag and collectable pins. Whether or not you decide to purchase New Horizons as either digital of physical, Nintendo UK will give you the option to chose between one of the aforementioned bonuses to be added to your cart. Please note this currently only applies to orders placed via Nintendo's UK Store, not from the Switch eShop.

We reached out to Nintendo UK, who told us if you chose the digital method, the bonus you pick should arrive by the release date, being March 20th. Nintendo UK runs at full retail prices however, so it'll cost you £49.99. You can receive these pre-order bonuses at other stores as we've previously reported, but if you're someone who prefers digital to physical copies, this is currently your only way to receive one of these freebies with your digital purchase. That said, if you do purchase digitally you'll get more Gold Coins that you can use for a discount on a later purchase via My Nintendo.
