My Nintendo Japan Adds Animal Crossing Themed Rewards

My Nintendo Japan has just added some swanky new Animal Crossing themed wallpapers to get into the spirit of the New Year, which will of course bring us Animal Crossing: New Horizons

There are three themes to chose from including Isabelle, K.K. Slider, and Timmy & Tommy. If you're after these wallpapers, they'll set you back 50 Platinum Points apiece. Currently, the rewards are only available on My Nintendo Japan. Since these are only a digital reward, we're hopeful they'll come to the west in the coming days. However, if you want these wallpapers right now, all you have to do is set up a Japanese My Nintendo account, and completed a few simple tasks to net you 150 Platinum Points.

They've also updated their previous Pochibukuro series with these new designs. For those wondering, Pochibukuro are small paper envelopes used in Japan, traditionally used for New Years. Unfortunately, these are physical items that need to be shipped to your address, so are unavailable to people outside of Japan. Whilst the wallpapers are new, there are also some old rewards.
