More Details Revealed for Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 1.5.0

Our initial post already went over what was to be included in the Version 1.5.0 update, which had an update to the Dreaming feature which was not present in the trailer. The Press Release has been sent now, which also goes over a couple of new additions which were not present in the trailer or the website. Full details below!

Firstly, Pumpkin Starts will be available year-round at Leif's shop, and at Nook's Cranny during the month of October. Once they've fully grown, they can be harvested and used in pumpkin-based DIY projects. In addition to growing pumpkins, starting October, players will be able to stock up on Candy at Nook's Cranny, and purchase Halloween Costumes (including a Mage and Mummy outfit) at The Able Sisters. If you're looking for some extra flare, body paint and new colored eye contacts can be exchanged for Nook Miles at the Nook Stop Terminal.

Your villagers will also join in on the fun, giving players Halloween themed DIY recipes. Once Halloween hits, your villagers will gather around the plaza, and Jack, the Czar of Halloween, will also pay you a visit. Giving Jack Candy and Lollipops will net you special rewards, but be sure to save some for your villagers to avoid getting pranked by them!

According to the Press Releases, it seems that in addition to North America, Australia will also be receiving an Animal Crossing amiibo Card restock in November, but it does not appear to be happening in Europe.

The update will be live on September 30th. 10am JST, 11am AEDST, 2am BST, and for those in America, it will actually happen on the 29th at 9pm EST. Once the update it out, we'll start reporting on new information.
