RESTOCK ALERT: Special Edition New Horizons Nintendo Switch Console and amiibo Cards to Receive Restock in North America

Amongst all the hustle and bustle of last nights welcomed version 1.5.0 update announcement, Nintendo America have also announced that they'll be restocking limited quantities of the Special Edition Animal Crossing Switch Console, as well as the Animal Crossing amiibo Cards Series 1-4. Full details below!

In two tweets, Nintendo of America announced that the amiibo cards will be restocked in November, for $5.99 a pack, which is the same price when they first released back in 2015. Currently, they've only announced Series 1-4 to receive a restock, and not the Welcome amiibo series.

What's more cryptic, is their tweet about the Limited Edition Switch console, which doesn't have a specific date mentioned, instead just says to "see your local retailers for more details on availability". We don't know for certain which retailers will be stocking the console, but we assume any retails that previously stocked it should be stocking it again. If you don't want to miss out, you should give your local retailers a call.

Currently, there is no word if these restocks will be happening in other countries. We've reached out to Nintendo Australia for a comment on an amiibo card restock here, and are awaiting a response.
