Animal Crossing: New Horizons - How To Expand Your Storage

As outlined in the Version 1.6.0 update video, players will be able to expand their house storage to be able to hold up to 2,400 items, instead of the smaller 1,600 items. This small guide goes over on how to maximize your storage!

In order to upgrade your storage, you'll need to have fully paid off your debt. Then speaking to Tom Nook and asking about your home, he'll ask for a 500,000 bell fee up front, and it's that simple! Of course, like most home upgrades, it won't be available until the next day, but it's a very simple way to get more storage out of your home! Here's hoping we'll receive some more storage with future updates.
