Spread The Love! Munna is This Year’s Valentine in Pokemon GO!

There is plenty to love as Munna and Musharna make their Pokémon GO debut this Valentine’s Day! Details of the annual Valentine’s Day event have now been released, boasting many more chances to join in on the festivities and nab some rare Pokémon.
From this Saturday 14th February through to Thursday 18th February, Munna can be found in both the wild and 5km eggs. To evolve Munna into Musharna, you will have to use 50 Munna candy and an Unova Stone. These can currently only be obtained as a chance reward for completing seven days of field research, so get ready to cross your fingers for good luck. You’ll still be able to evolve Munna after the event, so don’t worry if it takes you a while for that luck to pay off.

In addition to Munna appearing in the wild, there will be an increased spawn rate of Pokémon often seen in pairs such as Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂; and Plusle and Minun. Luvdisc will of course also be found more frequently, and if you’re lucky, Feebas can be caught too.

Latias and Latios will appear in five-star raids, alongside Mega Pidgeot, Mega Ampharos, and the newly released Mega Gyrados in Mega Raids. During the event, be sure to pick up a free one-time bundle in the shop for three Remote Raid Passes to make sure you don’t miss out!

Event-exclusive Field Research during this time will give you a chance to encounter Ralts, Volbeat, Illumise, Alomomola, and an adorable heart-patterned Spinda.
Lastly, there will be event-exclusive stickers available from Gifts, and brand new Munna designs to show off your trainer's style available from the Shop.

Be sure to check out the Pokémon GO website for further details. And as always, if you haven't already, be sure to follow us over on Twitter and Tumblr. Feel free to join our discord server, too!
