Instax Polaroid Compatibility Coming to Nintendo Switch April 30th

Nintendo have partnered up with Fujifilm to allow Nintendo Switch screenshots to be printed at Polaroids via the Instax Mini Link App! The app will go live on April 30th (the same day as New Pokemon Snap), and will also have a special Pikachu limited edition releasing mid-May. Full details below!

If you already own an Instax Mini Smartphone Printer, then come April 30th you'll be good to go! There are full instructions on the website on how to use the app, allowing users to upload screenshots, and then decorate with a number of stickers and frames from either the Animal Crossing, Mario, or Pokemon franchises.

Currently, the app only shows off Polaroids being printed from New Pokemon Snap, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury, but it's likely any screenshots can be used.

However, if you're a fan of Pokemon, a special limited edition Pikachu version will be releasing, sometime in "mid-May". This will come with 1 Instax Mini Link Special Edition Smartphone Printer, and 1 Instax Pikachu Case. No details on availablity have been announced yet, other than it being at "select retailers" and costing $199AUD.
