Animal Crossing: New Horizons' MASSIVE Version 2.0 Update Now Live!

Ahead of it's initial release, the big Version 2.0 update for New Horizons seems to have dropped an entire day early - even two in some countries! Be sure to update your game to the latest version to access the new content!

To update your game, simple head to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game icon on the Switch home menu and press the + or - button. From here you can select a software update via the internet, and you'll start downloading the latest version!

Do note that this update does not contain the paid Happy Home Paradise DLC. You'll need to download this update before you can play online, and downloading the update does seem to patch out some glitches, including the glitch where players could access and place items on the 4th tier of their Island.
