June 18th Nintendo Direct Announced

Mark your calendars because Nintendo has announced an upcoming Nintendo Direct that will live stream tomorrow! Full details below.

Previously teased back in May, Nintendo have come through with their promise to hold a Nintendo Direct in June, proper details have now been shared. The Direct will be livestreamed on June 18th at 7am PT/10am ET, and last for approximately 40 minutes. Nintendo have also stressed again that the Direct will only go over upcoming Nintendo Switch titles, and not have any focus on the previously announced Nintendo Switch successor.

For those in Australia, the time of the Direct will be midnight on the 19th AEDST, for those of us on the East Coast, but those closer to the West, Coast may have it air on the 18th as well, just before midnight. If you're confused by AUS timezones, you can check out Nintendo's AU NZ tweet here.

For any Animal Crossing fans, it's our own speculation that we do not expect any Animal Crossing news in this direct for a new main line game. If there is to be any, we assume it would be minor, such as a spin off, amiibo re-release, or maybe even a port. But we believe it's likely that Animal Crossing to be absent during this presentation.

As always, if you haven't already, be sure to follow us over on Twitter and Tumblr. Anything of note that is showcased within this Direct will be shared to the website after the Livestream.
