Now that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has released, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can download their first DLC item, a lovely Nook Inc. Silk Rug. Since rugs are a new addition to the Main Series titles, it's a nice little taste of a new feature introduced this time around.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons May Receive Paid DLC

Image
In the last few days since pre-orders and pre-loads have gone live, Nintendo's Official Website has been updated to include some peculiar information, that may lead to New Horizons receiving some sort of paid DLC in the future. The theory comes from Nintendo America's website , which states that the game will feature "In-Game Purchases". Some may argue that this is simply their way of saying you'll need a NSO subscription to play online, but if you look at other games that use NSO for online play - Super Mario Odyssey, Monster Hunter: Generations Ultimate and Pokemon: Let's Go  - they don't denote any sort of in-game purchase notice, they just separately mention NSO.  If you look over at the  Splatoon 2 ,  Pokemon Sword and Shield , or  Luigi's Mansion 3 , they either mention they'll have in-game purchases, or have an additional section for paid DLC. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer - Day 9

Coming into work today, there was no Isabelle, since she had no facilities for me to create. Instead, I hit up the streets looking for clients. Outside, there was Mira, who wanted a futuristic home, Pompom, who wanted a modern garden, and O'Hare, who wanted a tropical home. I was really tempted to design O'Hare's home, but before I accepted his request, I thought of something else. I went back inside to Nook's Homes, and remembered I hadn't studied any courses for today, so I decided to study the artwork course, allowing me to decorate with art. With my course done and dusted, I was able to do what I originally came here for - a special DLC villager. I headed upstairs and interacted with the 3DS system, to call in a special client. After they had arrived, Lottie called out to me, wanting me to come downstairs and introduce myself. I went downstairs, and was greeted by none other the Louie (a villager who has been absent from the game for a wh...

Animal Crossing New Leaf - Days 460 - 500

Days 460 - 500 I'm not all that sure how to start this off, so I guess I'll just do what I've done in the past, where I file everything under headings, and then post the important info. So let's get to it! Also, quick disclaimer, since I have been out of the blogmoshpere lately, I accidentally hit some setting which changed the default layout, and I'm not sure how to change it back, so sorry if any of the layout is out of whack. I'll start out with the jobs and chores since they're the most boring out of everything, so you can simply skip past them if they don't take your fancy. Jobs and Chores The first decent chore was that Benjamin wanted me to replace his sloppy sink. My alarm bells went off in my head, thinking that if I did get him something to replace his sloppy sink, that he'd give me the sloppy sink as a reward. I was wrong. I handed him a bear pole that I had in my pockets (probably from a time capsule), and he gave me a dentist c...
