Animal Crossing New Leaf - Day 17

Last Nights Caper
I just clocked in to see if the palm-tree lamp had been delivered. It hadn't.

Day 17

It actually took me a while to register it was July... I honestly thought it was late June (around the 25th), I don't know why. But when all the cicadas were out I was like 'Hey, they're out early' - until a few hours earlier when I realized it was July... Which is strange since I had no problem remembering to get the palm-tree lamp DLC which comes out on July 1st... Weird.

It was raining again in Skyfall. I do enjoy the rain, but to be completely honest, I'm getting over it. It's just drawn out and I miss the sun. Thankfully I was informed on the notice board that the rainy season would be over soon, and then it'll be getting hot. Great!

I headed over to Main Street to update my dream data, cash in my fortune cookies, and pay off my loan.
The amount of people who have dreamed on Skyfall was just over 2,000. As happy as I am that so many people seem to enjoy Skyfall, I get kinda upset since there's nothing much to look at. The only appealing part is the area around my house... I am working on it, though.

With the 2,000,000 bells I had in my bank I decided I should pay off my loan (as well as the fact Nook has nothing worth while in stock). From memory it costed me somewhere near 400,000 - 500,000 bells, it's nice seeing the pricing go up. Gives me something to spend my bells on.

I also decided to crack open my fortune cookies. I had three since I forgot to eat one from yesterday.

I also got word from Shari that Mac was considering leaving town (Gala seems to be slipping as gossip girl...)

I didn't really care for Mac, so his decision to leave didn't really bother me. I found him on the beach when he decided to tell me the news.

I told him good luck with his travels, but he took it the wrong way. He thought that with him gone it'd give me the opportunity to stop my exercise routine, and he couldn't have that. Instead he decided to stay.

I'm not overly bothered though. I would like Skyfall to get some new villagers. But I really couldn't care less since I only want Ricky to move out.

Unrelated News
I didn't have a huge amount of time to play, I had to attend my great aunts funeral today - which went from 10 - 5 (reception, burial, wake etc...) and by the time I got home I had a headache and didn't feel like playing much (I played for about 15 minutes in the car when driving there). I also have to go into school tomorrow so I don't think I'll be playing much tomorrow, either. Who knows, I doubt I'll get time to play in the morning. I don't know when I'll get home, and even then, it depends on how I feel. We'll see.
