Monster Hunter Double Cross Coming to Nintendo Switch
Capcom has recently announced that the newly released 3DS title, Monster Hunter Double Cross will be seeing a release on the Nintendo Switch. Double Cross is an updated version of the 3DS title, Monster Hunter Cross (or Monster Hunter Generations in the west), and a port of the 3DS title of the same name.
At the intial reveal of the game, no further details were revealed other than the box art for the title. However, at the Monster Hunter Championships 2017, we got out first look at the game, along with a release of August 25th in Japan.
A western release hasn't been announced yet, but with how well the Monster Hunter series has been going in the west recently, it's only a matter of time before it's revealed (E3 perhaps?). Unlike a 3DS release first, followed by the Switch release, western audiences will likely see both titles release at the same time, much like they did with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
