Animal Crossing Merch Coming to Japanese 7-11′s via “lottery”

Announced in Famitsu, a special lottery will be taking place at 7-11 Ita-Yadoka stores in Japan from March 17th. Ita-Yadoko is a Japanese general merchandise store owned by the 7-11 group. It costs 620 yen to participate in the lottery-type game and offers various pieces of Animal Crossing merchandise as rewards.

The prizes include unique Timmy/Tommy pillows, Animal Crossing themed mugs, hand-towels and dishes, all Animal Crossing amiibo (excluding Summer Isabelle), and a very cute themed tea pot.

Whilst we may be looking into things, could this merch be a sneaky way to hint at a new Animal Crossing game to come in the future?
