Aloha! Animal Crossing: New Horizons Themed Nintendo Switch Revealed

For Animal Crossing fans, January 2020 started off with a bang, as the first official trailer was released. The rest of the month was rather quiet, par a few small reveals here and there, but Nintendo have ended the month with an even bigger bang, by revealing a beautiful New Horizons Themed Switch and accessories! We've also included links on where you can order them.

Revealed earlier today, the Aloha Edition Nintendo Switch was revealed, and it's beautiful. So far, thee Switch has been Japan, America and Australia. No word for those in Europe yet, but we expect it to hit there. Update: The console has now been announced for Europe!

The Switch itself comes with a lovely themed dock with Tom Nook and the Nooklings on an island. The back of the Switch console also has an imprinted Animal Crossing pattern on the back, and come with two baby blue Joy-Cons. It really is a beautiful console.

Two cases have also been announced, which are made for both the Regular Switch and Switch Lite. They have a lovely Hawaiian pattern on them, and also come with a screen protector. If you want to purchase any of these, we've included links for the corresponding countries below!

For Australians, the console will cost $469.95AUD, and release on March 20th. The console does not come with the game included. You can also purchase the Lola edition cases, that work with both the Swith Lite and Regular Switch , with a screen protector included on the same day for $39.95AUD.

For those in the America's, it'll cost you $299.99USD, but will release a week earlier on March 13th, again without the game. The aloha edition cases will also be available for both models on the same day for $24.99.

For those in Europe, the bundle is currently only available on GAME UK. It will cost £329.99, but remember the European bundle comes with a download code for the game. The cases have also been announced, but are not yet currently available on any site. They will all release on Match 20th. We'll update this post as it comes.

Japanese owners can net the console on on March 20th, and start pre-ordering from February 8th. The Japanese edition will come with the game installed, for 35,690 yen. The special edition aloha cases will also be available the same day, for 2,480 yen for both Regular and Lite Switch models.

We honestly really love the designs, and are tempted to pick up a protective case, even though we already have one! We're a little bummed out there wasn't a pro-controller revealed, but there's always some sort of hope we'll get one in the distant future.
