More New Characters Leaked in New Horizons Merchandise

Last week we mentioned we wouldn't be surprised if we saw some more leaks due to Blathers and Mabel's reveal on a Nintendo Switch case. This time, we've had a much more substantial leak that shows off an assortment of new villagers and special characters!

The leak comes from Japanese retail outlet hmv, which shows off some Nintendo Switch stickers that can go on the back of your Switch to add some flare. These sticker sheets show off a huge number of villagers, many returning ones, as well as brand new ones!

We'll ignore any returning villagers and simply focus on the new ones for now. These villagers include a horse, cat, bear, bear cub, goat, wolf and sheep. Unfortunately due to the small size of the sticker sheet, it's hard to get a nice HQ picture of them, but here's what we spotted.

There's also what we assume to be special characters, being a chameleon of some sort, a boar, another dodo, and the beaver character again. It's very interesting that three of these characters seem to be younger relatives of pre-existing characters, Nat, Joan and Chip... Could they be relatives to help them out, or will they replace them entirely? 

As for returning characters, we've got a large number of villagers returning, and special characters including Sabel, Labelle, Celeste, Kicks, Wisp, and Saharah, as well as a new player render which seems to show off some of the Sanrio clothes from New Leaf...

We don't expect this to be the last leak either, providing Nintendo doesn't officially reveal any information in the next week or two. With just under two months until release, it's only logical that these leaks will appear via official merchandise.
