Taiwanese Advertisement Reveals Brand New Details for Animal Crossing: New Horizons
There has been previous concern about the size of the island in comparison to the towns in previous titles. Seemingly, the upper tiers of the island looked unreachable, but this latest artwork reveals that won't be the case at all, with the inclusion of stairs!

Since you start life on an island, it only seems logical there wouldn't be much going on. We theorise that after you've been on the island for a while, you'll unlock the ability to build stairs which will help you access the higher parts of the island. How to unlock the stairs isn't yet known, but it'll likely be something akin to Public Works Projects in New Leaf.

Additionally, we can also spot a few other details, including a fence. There is some fence up the top of the stairs, and the other is in the background. It could just be the players character blocking the full view, but it looks the fence might be blocking off a certain part of the island? Oh, and it also reveals the return of fan favorite villager, Julian. The path seems to be something else we haven't seen before, donning a brick pattern as opposed to the dirt pattern seen previously.
