Not too long ago we posted about a datamine that alluded to a few potential upcoming features in New Horizons, and now Nintendo have dropped an official trailer and overview on what to expect in game for the coming weeks. We'll see Leif, Redd, an upgrade to The Museum, and much more! It will add Leif's Garden Shop, who will set up at the Plaza on random days and sell bush starts and flowers not available at Nook's Cranny. Jolly Redd's Treasure Trawler will also dock on the secret northern beach, selling fine wares via the black market. He'll sell furniture and artwork, which will also bring the Art Gallery to The Museum, which will also see an upgrade! ...

Earlier this morning was a Nintendo Direct Mini which gave us an update on New Horizons, including the Bunny Day Event, and Earth Day which is to follow, and will add everybody favorite Sloth, Leif, to the game! A brief trailer was shown off going over what to expect, and we've included all the relevant information below! Providing you've downloaded the latest update, Zipper T. Bunny will visit your Island from April 1st - April 12th. He's hidden a number of Eggs on your Island in various locations that you need to track down. From here, you'll be able to Craft a number of items from the Egg Series. Another update will be coming in April, adding new features and the Earth Day event, and will also add Leif to the game. Currently we don't know if Leif will be added permanently, or simply for the Earth Day Event, but since a number of fruits are missing, as well as Bushes, our fingers are crossed he'll be a permanent addition. Last Nights Caper Just browsed the internet and eventually slept. Day 315 Today was of course Weeding Day, and all I wanted to do was rush up to Leif to see if he would give me the topiaries. But before I could do that, I wanted to do one final check to make sure Skyfall was weed free. Whilst I was doing that, I spoke to Soleil, who gave me a checkered tile, and then continued to patrol Skyfall for weeds. Now that I had checked Skyfall for weeds, I headed on over to the plaza to speak with Leif, who gave me the topiary public works projects. Though I couldn't get a picture of them as the Town Hall was closed due to the event, so I'll get that tomorrow. Last Nights Caper I raged in silence then fell asleep. Day 57 Apparently I am meant to have gotten a DLC from Pete or something, hasn't happened yet... Give it to me now! I also got the golden axe from Leif, guess buying 50 saplings finally paid off. After much consideration, I finally decided to pay off my mortgage so I could open up a new room.
