Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Day 24 - Bunny Day + Important Announcement

First and foremost, I apologize for the huge delay with posts. A lot has been going on in the world due to covid-19, and we've decided to make a few changes. You can read these changes in our announcement at the end of this post, but for now, it's all abut Bunny Day (albeit 2 weeks later oops).

To open up the day, we had a letter from the HHA, informing us that we'd achieved Rank S! Attached was a nice little sliver wall plaque which I hung up in my house. We also had Daisy Mae visiting, but her price was a hefty 104, so I decided to opt out for this week.

Finally, it was time to head over to the Plaza to check in with Zipper. He was ecstatic to see us again, and was thankful for keeping his secret. To get us started, he gifted us the DIY Recipe for the Bunny Day Arch, and then told us he'd give us a nice reward for crafting all Bunny Day recipes.

By this point, I'd already crafted everything par the Arch, and I had more than enough Eggs handy to craft one. With all Recipes made, I headed back to a shocked Zipper, who had ONE OTHER THING for us to make... a wobbling Zipper toy. It's a pretty cute project, and if we crafted it, Zipper would give us a super-di-duper prize.

Again, I had more than enough Eggs to craft the wobbler toy, so I made my way back to Zipper, who gave us a final prize, the Bunny Day Wand DIY. This wand acts like the wand Celeste gave us, but is instead Bunny Day themed. It makes me wonder if each holiday will have it's own wand allocated to it?

The day was nearing an end, but I still felt like something was missing. I spoke to Zipper one last time, who had one more gift for me, a Bunny Day Basket, which he'd gift me if I was able to give him one Egg of each type. There was no limit for how many Baskets I could get, just as long as I kept providing him with Eggs. I decided to give him enough eggs for 3 Baskets, which I'll put to good use at some point.

It's been about 2 weeks since I last blogged about Nublar, so you're probably wonder what's been happening. The main thing I've been working on is landscaping the Island. I haven't done a whole lot, but I feel I've done a decent amount to finally have some sort of vision of how I want it to look. Here's a picture of the new map, which I'm still working on. I plan on getting rid of the cliffs and river system in the bottom left and moving that to the top third of the map, and currently working on moving the four resident houses in C2 over to B6.

Moving forward, we'll now be holding weekly/bi-weekly blogs, rather than daily blogs. In addition, we'll also be using this time to focus more on the site, including posting patterns to our Tumblr, writing and updating guides, as well as producing more articles.
