Bidoof Crossing

First and foremost, I apologize for the huge delay with posts. A lot has been going on in the world due to covid-19, and we've decided to make a few changes. You can read these changes in our announcement at the end of this post, but for now, it's all abut Bunny Day (albeit 2 weeks later oops). To open up the day, we had a letter from the HHA, informing us that we'd achieved Rank S! Attached was a nice little sliver wall plaque which I hung up in my house. We also had Daisy Mae visiting, but her price was a hefty 104, so I decided to opt out for this week. Finally, it was time to head over to the Plaza to check in with Zipper. He was ecstatic to see us again, and was thankful for keeping his secret. To get us started, he gifted us the DIY Recipe for the Bunny Day Arch, and then told us he'd give us a nice reward for crafting all Bunny Day recipes. By this point, I'd already crafted everything par the Arch, and I had more than enough ...

As I mentioned in yesterdays post, I was pressed for time last night, so I'd do a separate post that goes over the Bunny Day Event, and here it is! I'd already noticed a few odd happenings, especially with a tree bearing eggs, as well as digging up an egg... So I knew Zipper was up to his old tricks! I figured the most logical place for him to be was at the Plaza, but it was surprisingly empty... I guess he was doing his own version of an Egg hunt!

As expected, there wasn't an April Fools event going on today. But to an even bigger surprise, there was absolutely nothing  to acknowledge it... No letter in the mail, no gag gift, not even a message on the Bulletin Board (of which, hasn't even been used since I came to Nublar)... It's a little disheartening especially since all the effort they put into April Fools in New Leaf, here's hoping it's something they've got planned for another year at least. Fortunately, the Bunny Day event had officially started, so it's not like we started the new month on bad terms.

Earlier this morning was a Nintendo Direct Mini which gave us an update on New Horizons, including the Bunny Day Event, and Earth Day which is to follow, and will add everybody favorite Sloth, Leif, to the game! A brief trailer was shown off going over what to expect, and we've included all the relevant information below! Providing you've downloaded the latest update, Zipper T. Bunny will visit your Island from April 1st - April 12th. He's hidden a number of Eggs on your Island in various locations that you need to track down. From here, you'll be able to Craft a number of items from the Egg Series. Another update will be coming in April, adding new features and the Earth Day event, and will also add Leif to the game. Currently we don't know if Leif will be added permanently, or simply for the Earth Day Event, but since a number of fruits are missing, as well as Bushes, our fingers are crossed he'll be a permanent addition. Last Nights Caper I went on just to get a picture of Zipper's zipper lol, I also collected a few more eggs, but I only got one ticket, which got me an egg table. Day 310 A nice rainy today, last time it was raining I didn't mention anything about it, but I always like a good rainy day. I soon found Bree walking around in the rain with her posh umbrella, and wanted to sell me an astro wall, which I bought for the sake of it. I didn't need it for anything, so I ended up selling it. After I spoke with Bree, I came across Ricky, but he didn't have any chores for me. I then went off the find the next best villager, Tia, but she was MIA. Next stop was Soleil, and she has Hazel over. I spoke to Soleil and she told me about Weeding Day which was coming up. After speaking to Soleil I went to speak to Hazel, who told me she had a basic painting for sale. She was selling it for a pricey 4,000+ bells, but I bought it anyway... Too bad it tur...

Last Nights Caper I really don't remember anything, I was pretty tired though. Day 309 Today was Bunny Day, but before I could go ahead with the event, I had a few things to do around Skyfall first. First I had to check out Main Street for anything that took my fancy, but there was nothing, then I had to go check up on Hazel, who had just moved in today. She's still really cute, and I'm still undecided on whether or not I should keep her... Now that I had greeted Hazel, I was going to go ahead with Bunny Day, but I wanted to clear out my pockets before hand. After selling my excess items to Re-Tail, I had over 99,999 bells in my pockets, and it was unable to fit in my wallet, and I had an extra bag taking up space in my pockets, so I headed over to the Post Office to deposit it. Whilst I was there I decided to check for DLC since they usually come out around the middle/end of the month, and sure enough, there was a Taurus bathtub waiting for me. ...
