Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Day 13

Image
As expected, there wasn't an April Fools event going on today. But to an even bigger surprise, there was absolutely nothing  to acknowledge it... No letter in the mail, no gag gift, not even a message on the Bulletin Board (of which, hasn't even been used since I came to Nublar)... It's a little disheartening especially since all the effort they put into April Fools in New Leaf, here's hoping it's something they've got planned for another year at least. Fortunately, the Bunny Day event had officially started, so it's not like we started the new month on bad terms.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Day 12

Today was finally the day The Able Sisters opened up! I feel like I've been waiting much longer than 2 days at this point, and we also had our very first visit from Flick! I had to go to work early this morning, so I wasn't able to check The Able Sisters out until later tonight, but I did stop by and speak with Flick.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Day 11

Isabelle gave us a warm welcome this morning, and informed me that Olaf had officially moved in. Like I mentioned yesterday, I'm not the biggest fan of him, so I hope he doesn't stay around too long. In the mail, I received yet another letter from Dodo Airlines, this time containing a DAL Eyemask. I'm really liking all this Dodo swag, I really hope there's more to come!

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer - Day 13

Making sure I didn't forget, the first thing I did was learn my design course for the day, and I studied the bug course, allowing me to decorate with bugs. Isabelle was still hanging around, but I really didn't feel like doing any facilities today. So instead, I went outside and looked for a client. Unfortunately, there weren't any decent villagers outside, so I went inside and was about to speak with Isabelle, until I remembered a device that I hadn't used - the amiibo phone. I grabbed my amiibo cards and ploughed through them, and decided to go with Eunice. Once Eunice had been called in, we had the usual meeting where we chose the exterior and floor plan, and then went on site to design her dream home - a toast-warm winter room. Her exterior was kind of tricky to design, since it was kind of small, but it wasn't that small that is was virtually impossible it work with. I actually really like how her exterior turned out. Once her exterior...

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer - Day 7

Walking into work today I was greeted by Isabelle (as informed yesterday), who seemed incredibly happy to see me. She told me that she had received permits to allow the constriction of a hospital, shop and restaurant. She gave me the option to build one right away, but there was something else I wanted to do. Looking over at the amiibo phone, I remembered a little something you get from scanning a Villager amiibo through the phone. I grabbed my amiibo and scanned it through, and I was told that there was no communication with this amiibo, but was instead given a  Villager statue as an apology. I'm not sure how/where to use this item, but I'm sure it'll come in handy one day. With my loot in pocket, I made my way back to Isabelle, and ultimately decided on building the shop, as I felt it was the easiest one of the three. Now that I had made my decision, Isabelle and I went over to the place the shop would be built, and got to work. ...
