Bidoof Crossing

One villager leaves, and another villager enters - it was goodbye Olaf and hello Ken. I believe Ken is a chicken going off memory here, which means he'll have some tough competition with Nublar's existing chicken, Plucky! As for morning announcements, once again there were none, but Isabelle wished us a happy "Friday Eve" which gave me a good chuckle.

I played a little last night after I made my blog post, but the only note worthy thing I did was move Hoppers house to the area I'd moved Velma's and Flora's. I also ended up moving Tucker over there today. As for the daily announcements, Isabelle informed us that today, Olaf would be leaving Nublar, but there was also someone in the campsite!

Today was yet another rainy day on Nublar, but not just your standard rain, it was a real downpour! There wasn't anything that was going on as far as I was aware, and I'd wondered what Isabelle would say if there wasn't anything to mention during the morning announcements, and instead she just went over the ongoing Bunny Day event. I wonder what she'd actually say if there really wasn't anything going on. Oh well. Now that it was the weekend, I finally had a lot of time to spent developing Nublar (especially with my new design permits in hand!)... but there was one problem... all the work I'd done over the last week with moving houses, well that spaces started looking very cluttered... But before we open that can of worms, there's a few things I want to get done first.

If you've been following me the past few days, you'd know that Hornsby would be moving in today, which made me very excited. Isabelle graced us with the news during the morning announcements, and I must say I'm very happy to have him on board, and he seems to feel the same! Also I just realized we've now been in Nublar for 2 weeks... time sure does fly.

Isabelle gave us a warm welcome this morning, and informed me that Olaf had officially moved in. Like I mentioned yesterday, I'm not the biggest fan of him, so I hope he doesn't stay around too long. In the mail, I received yet another letter from Dodo Airlines, this time containing a DAL Eyemask. I'm really liking all this Dodo swag, I really hope there's more to come!

Our first day in double digits, and the day really lived up to the title with what felt like double the amount of work we completed today! I was pretty confident once the weekend rolled around I'd be able to get a lot of stuff done, and boy was I right. Now let's unpack, because there's a lot to get through.

It was a new day, which meant Nook's Cranny was open, and it was time to sell all those Scorpions. I had a full inventory, par the Net space, which totalled 39 Scorpions all up. I earned 312,000 Bells in return, which is pretty good, and considering the renovations I want to do on Nublar, that's sure going to come in handy.

I wasn't planning on playing much more last night, but I dabbled in a little bit, and had my second encounter with Wisp (more on that below). I even found him again tonight, so that makes three times total! As for today, Nook opened up with his announcement. I was obviously expecting him to announce Midge had moved in, but to my surprise he also said that the Resident Services would be closed tomorrow for renovations, changing from a Tent to a permanent Building. I really wasn't expecting that so soon! As such, the services offered tomorrow won't be available, such as the Nook Stop and Recycle Box, so Nook urged residents to use them whilst we still can!

Last Nights Caper Rcky + Bri = otp became canon. He's also picked up her catchphrase... I AM GOING DOWN WITH THIS SHIP!!!! Day 64 Would be nice to have relaxed a little from last nights hectic post, but guess what? You're getting another lengthy post. Wieww!! Bug off - I'll admit it, I forgot about it until 5:50pm and I gave a miyami stag and then an agrias butterfly which gave me first place (I got a rococo wall and cicada speaker) and snagged first place. Talk about winning by the skin of your teeth (is that even a saying?). Didn't go the the ceremony because too lazy. Decided to visit Mac on his last day in Skyfall (bye). I also asked Harry if he wanted Mac (he likes dogs), he said no though. Oh well, maybe Mac will go to someone else who has visited me recently. I also got the back room of my house constructed today (I've now unlocked all rooms, just need to expand). Maybe tomorrow I'll buy the...
